Every Shashibo — DODECA, OCTA and ICOSA XL — connects with the others through its outer magnets, so this one will join any cube you already own.
More about Shashibo Eternal Friends — Meow Wolf Series
Eternal Friends sounds like the most wholesome corner of a Meow Wolf exhibit, the room you would visit with your favorite person. That warmth makes it an easy present: hand it over and the two of you can take turns discovering shapes. Every twist of the DODECA cube moves the art around, so no two sessions look quite alike.
More than 100 possible forms keep it interesting, and the 36 magnets hold each fold with a confident snap. It is quiet, screen free and recommended for ages 8 and older. Buy two and connect them, or add Hyper Melon and Qdot Map to build a Meow Wolf sculpture that feels as surprising as the installations that inspired it.
How it compares on this shelf
Shashibo Eternal Friends is the most giftable cube in the Meow Wolf set. Where Shashibo Hyper Melon is all fruity noise and Shashibo Dryer Portal is a strange doorway, Eternal Friends carries a warm, buddy theme that practically writes the gift card for you. The cube under the art is the same 36-magnet DODECA as the rest of the collab, at the same price, so it comes down to whom you are buying for — and buying two to connect is very much in character.

Fun and a Big Hit!
I bought this magnetic puzzle cube as a gift, and the kid was extremely happy with it! It was a fun, unique gift and kept them entertained. The magnetic pieces make it easy to play with and enjoy. Definitely a great choice if you’re looking for a fun gift for a kid!

Good for all ages!
Just unboxed today, it arrived while my 5 year old was having a meltdown and couldnt be calmed, I started playing with it next to her and in a few minutes she calmed down to ask 'whats that?' She asked to play with it. Now been playing with it for an hour and a half. Found a shape she decided looked like a spaceship, been playing with that ONE shape for the past 20 mins. I liked playing with it, she obviously likes playing with it. The movement is smooth and the clicks are satisfying, its regulating to see the patterns form and feel it shift. It seems high quality, the stickers are very strong, its heavy for its size, its been dropped multiple times already and seems totally fine. Seems too difficult for my 3 year old, or maybe she just needs to get the hang of it, but shes tried to force the stickers the wrong way a few times and it hasnt broken. Really pretty toy, I got the 'Fire Goddess' cube and the designs go well together. Honestly it was worth the $25 just to calm that meltdown and give us a couple hours of peaceful, regulated play. If it can repeat it itll be worth its weight in gold. And Im sure Ill still enjoy shutting my brain down with it sometimes. Do recommend!

Questions about Shashibo Eternal Friends — Meow Wolf Series
Is Eternal Friends a good best-friend gift?
That is its whole spirit. The friendship theme makes it a thoughtful present, and two people can take turns discovering shapes — or buy a second one and connect them.
Will it connect with non-Meow Wolf cubes?
Yes. Every Shashibo uses the same outer-magnet system, so Eternal Friends joins Gartel cubes, character cubes, OCTA and ICOSA XL forms or anything else already in your collection.
How many inner designs does it reveal?
Like every DODECA, it has one outer design and three inner designs that appear as you fold through its 100-plus shapes, so the friendship art keeps showing a side you hadn't noticed before.
