More about Shashibo SpongeBob SquarePants — Beach Buddies
Some fidgets feel like homework. This one feels like a day off. The Beach Buddies edition of Shashibo carries a relaxed, sun-and-sand take on SpongeBob SquarePants across its panels, and each twist reveals a different slice of the artwork. Fold it, flip it, pop it open again: the cube keeps transforming through more than 100 shapes, held together by 36 ultra-strong magnets so nothing slips apart mid-move.
Under the fun, there is real brainwork. Remembering the steps that lead to a favorite shape exercises working memory, while building bigger, stranger forms sharpens spatial reasoning. It stays quiet in the hand, so it slips easily into a classroom desk or a long meeting. Recommended for ages eight and up, it also makes a cheerful gift or party favor for any Bikini Bottom regular in your life.
How it compares on this shelf
Beach Buddies is the sun-and-sand SpongeBob cube. Krusty Krab, its only sibling on this shelf, centers on the famous kitchen under the sea; Beach Buddies takes the crew out for a relaxed day off. Both cost the same and share the same 36-magnet frame. If you are choosing one, pick Beach Buddies for the breezier, vacation-mood artwork and Krusty Krab for the fry-cook side of Bikini Bottom.

Fun for all ages, and creative.
Gave it to my six year old great-grandson and his mother says it is "rad". He was immediately finding shapes he could play with and identify. Should keep him occupied for a good long while.
Questions about Shashibo SpongeBob SquarePants — Beach Buddies
Does Beach Buddies connect with the Krusty Krab cube?
Yes. Every Shashibo connects through its outer magnets, so the two SpongeBob designs can sit side by side or join into a star or tower. It also links with any other Shashibo you already own.
Is Beach Buddies one cube or a set?
It is a single magnetic puzzle cube with the Beach Buddies artwork. The Krusty Krab design is sold separately, so buy both if you want the complete two-cube SpongeBob pair from this shelf.
What age is the SpongeBob cube for?
It is recommended for ages 8 and up. The cube contains magnets and small parts — a choking hazard for children under 3 — and the brand advises people with pacemakers not to play with it.
