How to use it
Start from the closed cube, open one corner and let the magnets lead — never force a piece. Our step-by-step first-fold guide covers the crown, the star and the way back to the box.
Collect & connect
Every Shashibo — DODECA, OCTA and ICOSA XL — connects with the others through its outer magnets, so this one will join any cube you already own.
More about Shashibo Hello Kitty — Rainbow
Color lovers, this is your Shashibo. The Rainbow design spreads a bright, cheerful palette across a Hello Kitty cube, and because every fold shuffles the panels, the colors never land the same way twice. One minute it is a neat little block; a few turns later it has stretched into something long, angular or wonderfully odd. Over 100 possible shapes mean there is always one more to find.
Pair it with other Hello Kitty designs, or any Shashibo at all, and the magnets let you join cubes into larger structures. That collecting habit pays off for the brain, too: planning a sequence builds working memory and assembling bigger forms stretches spatial reasoning. It makes no clicking racket, so it suits classrooms and shared offices. Recommended for ages eight and up and an easy gift pick.
How it compares on this shelf
Rainbow is the most colorful of the three Hello Kitty cubes. Kawaii leans soft and cute, Garden Doodle sketch-like and outdoorsy; Rainbow throws a whole spectrum across the panels, so each fold lands a different color on top. All share one price. Next to Confetti from the Artist Series, Rainbow brings the same bright mood with the Hello Kitty license attached — the pick for a fan who wants every color at once.

Fun for all ages, and creative.
Gave it to my six year old great-grandson and his mother says it is "rad". He was immediately finding shapes he could play with and identify. Should keep him occupied for a good long while.
Questions about Shashibo Hello Kitty — Rainbow
Is the Rainbow cube a good pick for color lovers?
It is the brightest Hello Kitty design. Because every fold reshuffles the panels, the spectrum never lands the same way twice. It is recommended for ages 8 and up and folds silently.
Can Rainbow join my Kawaii or Garden Doodle cube?
Yes. All Hello Kitty cubes — and every other Shashibo — connect through their outer magnets, so you can build a three-cube Hello Kitty structure or mix in cubes from other series.
What makes Rainbow an easy gift?
It is a single cube that needs no batteries, apps or setup — open one of its two opening corners and start folding. The brand's free app has optional videos if the recipient wants guided shapes.
