More about Shashibo Star Trek — Enterprise Legends

The Enterprise has carried some of science fiction's most famous crews, and this design pays tribute to that legacy on a shape-shifting cube. Twist it once and it begins to transform; keep exploring and you will chart more than 100 configurations, each one held together by 36 ultra-strong magnets. It is a satisfying mission for idle hands, whether on the bridge or at your desk.

Star Trek fans will appreciate it as a collectible, but it is meant to be used. The quiet folding helps calm the mind between meetings, and the puzzle side of it builds working memory and spatial reasoning. Connect it with the Starship Tech design or any other Shashibo to expand your fleet. It makes a stellar gift for anyone who answers every goodbye with live long and prosper.

How it compares on this shelf

Enterprise Legends is the ship-and-crew tribute of the two Star Trek cubes. Starship Tech, its sibling, focuses on the engineering side; Enterprise Legends honors the famous ship and its legacy. Same price, same 36-magnet frame. Pick Legends for fans of the captains and their stories, Tech for fans of the hardware. For a cosmic third cube from another line, Cosmos adds holographic stars.

Fun for all ages, and creative.

Gave it to my six year old great-grandson and his mother says it is "rad". He was immediately finding shapes he could play with and identify. Should keep him occupied for a good long while.

Questions about Shashibo Star Trek — Enterprise Legends

Is Enterprise Legends a collectible or a fidget?

Both. It looks right on a Trekkie's shelf, but it is meant to be folded — 36 magnets carry it through 100+ shapes and back to a cube. Rated for ages 8 and up.

Does it dock with the Starship Tech cube?

Yes. The two Star Trek designs connect through their outer magnets, and both link with any other Shashibo, so you can grow a small fleet across series.

Is Enterprise Legends a good gift for a longtime Trekkie?

It is a fun desk piece for someone who already has plenty of Trek on the wall — a hands-on, silent puzzle rather than another poster. Note: people with pacemakers are advised not to play with it.
